Sharps waste is hazardous and must be handled with absolute care. That's why every container we collect is securely packaged, transported by us as a licensed carrier, and treated through High Temperature Incineration (HTI) — the safest and most compliant method in the UK.

At the facility, your waste is checked in, inspected, and then destroyed in a two-stage incinerator operating at over 1,100°C. This process eliminates all pathogens and hazardous substances, while advanced filtration systems ensure emissions remain clean and tightly controlled.

What's left is a small amount of residue: non-hazardous ash may be used in local Energy Recovery Facilities to generate heat or electricity, while any hazardous material is safely treated or disposed of at specialist sites.
